Agricultural machinery is well maintained in winter and will be worry free to use next year
After the busy autumn harvest, everything returns to tranquility. Regardless of the type of brave product, cleaning, maintenance, lubrication, and maintenance, as well as winter protection, can ensure that the equipment is intact and extend its service life the next year.
Before shutting down for maintenance, a full vehicle motion inspection should be conducted to ensure that the rotating parts, lifting parts, clutch, and control actions are in place, and the hydraulic system is free of leaks or leaks. Perform the same action once after cleaning the entire machine. If there is a malfunction, troubleshoot it first and then perform the following maintenance.(1) Thoroughly clean and remove dust from the entire machine. Cut off the power and thoroughly clean the mud, weeds, and other attachments on the body. Special attention should be paid to eliminating residual crop seeds at the upper and lower interfaces of main rotating components such as agitators, shredders, elevators, granaries, and conveying devices, in order to avoid sprouting and rotting of residual crop seeds and damage to machine parts.
(2) After cleaning, thoroughly lubricate all parts according to the lubrication diagram. Apply lubricating oil to the adjustment bolts. Sliding or rotating parts without oil nozzles should be coated with oil on the surface.
(3) Tensioning device and tape. The conveyor belt, chain, and spring (with tensioning mechanism) of the conveying and rotating parts should be loosened and detached before storage. After cleaning the chain, apply lubricating oil (agent, grease) fully. The tape should be removed, washed, and dried before being stored in the warehouse.
(4) Release the spring load.
(5) Clean the gearbox, clean the brake cylinder, clutch cylinder, and spline shaft, and apply lubricating oil for protection after cleaning. Then check the oil level inside the chamber.
(6) Control and braking system. Check the walking clutch, main clutch plate, and release bearing, adjust according to the situation, and replace severely worn ones.
(7) Inspect, clean, and oil all bearings on the vehicle, especially spherical bearings.
(8) In order to extend the lifespan of the battery, it is necessary to test the battery level and charge it once before winter storage. Please remove the battery and store it in a dry and ventilated warehouse, and test and charge it every 2-3 months.
When using it again, pay attention to the installation of the battery connection wire. The clip stuck on the electrode pole has a less obvious distinction between large and small ends, which makes it difficult to install it to the bottom during reverse installation. It is also easy to damage the metal layer wrapped in the outer layer of the pole, which can damage the service life of the battery. For fast consuming batteries, check the ionization level of the battery liquid. If the ionization level is low, pour out the battery liquid, rinse the battery and zinc sheet repeatedly with distilled water, seal them after drying, and replace the battery liquid when reusing.
(9) Retract the hydraulic cylinder and apply oil to the exposed surface of the cylinder plunger.
(10) When storing outdoors, lift the entire machine and remove the tires for indoor storage. When storing indoors, lift the entire machine to lift the tires off the ground and avoid any load.
