Weichai Lewo Releases CVT Series Intelligent Tractor Smart Agriculture Application Scenario Solution
On November 27th, at the 2023 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition, Weichai Lewo launched a heavyweight CVT series intelligent tractor intelligent agriculture application scenario solution. The Weichai Lewo 220-380 horsepower CVT tractor series has made its debut in combination, attracting widespread attention in the industry.
Based on the commercial landing of the CVT series tractors, Weichai Lewo has launched the first systematic CVT tractor intelligent agriculture application scenario solution in China, which can provide full operation scenarios such as cultivation, planting, management, and straw treatment for large-scale planting in regions such as the Central Plains, Northeast, and Northwest. With the support of intelligent and information technology, it deepens the integration of navigation, intelligent driving systems, and continuously variable speed. While providing efficient and high-precision operation effects, it also solves the problem of "who will farm" in the era.
The label of "domestic innovation" is destined to have profound value connotations in response to the development requirements of domestic independent and controllable intelligent agricultural machinery. After the strategic restructuring, Weichai Lewo integrates its advantages in engine, gearbox, hydraulic, and electronic control, as well as its own advantages in vehicle system integration, to achieve collaborative progress at the technical level. After unremitting efforts, the R&D team of Weichai Lewo has successively overcome a series of "bottleneck" technologies such as power shifting and CVT continuously variable transmission.
Since the first domestically developed CVT heavy-duty intelligent tractor, the Lovol P2404-7V, was released in 2021, domestic CVT technology has leapt out of the paper for the first time and successfully entered the market. In the past two years, Weichai Lewo has completed the commercialization of a full series of CVT tractors with 180-380 horsepower, achieving a continuous leap from "0 to 1" and from "1 to many", thus forming a more complete, intelligent, and efficient CVT technology ecosystem for Chinese tractors.
Compared to traditional agricultural production methods, intelligent agricultural machinery and equipment integrated with CVT technology have more advantages in increasing yield, reducing costs, saving manpower, and reducing losses. At the release site, Weichai Lewo Smart Agriculture showcased a variety of representative combinations of CVT tractors, large electric drive precision seeders, hydraulic flipping plows, compound drill seeders, and bundling machines.
