In 2005, due to the high cost of manual harvesting of rice and wheat in Chengdu and strong support from the government for the promotion and support of harvesters, Chen Daosong decisively purchased a Kubota harvester with his keen vision and more than ten years of experience in dealing with farmers, and began to engage in harvesting services. That year, he successfully completed a harvesting operation of 3000 acres. While achieving good profits, he also gained recognition from nearby farmers, which doubled Chen Daosong's confidence in continuing to devote himself to the agricultural machinery industry.
In 2008, in order to expand his career and better serve surrounding farmers, Chen Daosong followed the pace of the times and established the Changping Agricultural Machinery Operation Professional Cooperative in Xindu District, with him serving as the chairman of the cooperative. Under his leadership, the scale of the cooperative's operation has been expanding day by day. Currently, it covers an area of 10 acres, has 20 members, has a contracted land area of 1200 acres, and has an annual operational service area of up to 80000 acres. As of now, we have purchased a total of 4 Kubota tractors, 8 Kubota transplanters, and 12 Kubota harvesters. In 2021, the cooperative achieved a turnover of 2.8 million yuan and a profit of over 600000 yuan, reaching its highest profit point in history. In order to promote the development of full mechanization in the Xindu area, Chen Daosong often takes the initiative to undertake local agricultural machinery related promotion activities, invites provincial and municipal experts to preach and teach to everyone, and exchanges production and operation experience with cooperatives in other regions, which has played a strong demonstration role in promoting the development of local cooperatives. At the same time, in 2020, recommended by Kubota's Sichuan distributors, the cooperative was also selected as one of the first batch of "Kubota Demonstration Cooperatives"
