How to maintain the plant protection UAV?
As a precise high-tech product, the small change of any component of plant protection UAV will affect its flight state and service life. Most pesticide spraying operations carried out by plant protection UAVs are in high temperature and humid environment in summer, and the one-time operation time is generally long. In addition to operating and using in a correct way, daily maintenance and inspection are also very important.
Routine maintenance
1. Before operation, check whether the medicine box leaks. After completion, clean the medicine box and wipe the rack with a wet towel.
2. The motor needs to be washed with clean water. Sharp objects must not be used to contact the copper wire inside the motor.
3. After each use, please clean the medicine box, water pump and nozzle with clean water.
4. After each use, please clean the paddle, motor and frame of the aircraft with clean water (remember not to sprinkle river water on the flight control, electric reconciliation plug and other electronic components).
5. After each use, please carefully check whether the paddle used on the aircraft has cracks and broken signs, and whether the surface of the battery used has holes and is pierced by sharp objects. If there is a damaged battery, it will cause combustion and damage the agricultural multi rotor plant protection machine.
6. After use, keep the whole machine in a place not easy to collide.
Regular maintenance
1. Every other week before use, carefully check whether all parts and accessories are in good condition, especially whether the paddle used on the aircraft has cracks and broken signs, and the surface of the used battery has holes and the image of being pierced by sharp things.
2. During use, carefully check whether the ground station is intact and can be used normally every other week, and carefully check whether the wire on the flight control is loose and damaged.
3. Before and during use (every other week), carefully check whether the UAV body is loose, whether the connecting part is firm, whether the screws are fastened, especially whether the motor is loose.
4. Maintenance of lithium battery:
(1) When it is not used for a long time after three days, the lithium battery voltage needs to be stored at 3.8V and placed in a cool and ventilated place.
(2) The voltage shall be checked once a month. If the voltage is lower than 3.8V, it shall be powered up.
(3) Do not expose the lithium battery to the sun during off-site operation.
