1、 General situation of the conference
In 2021, the "opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating agricultural and rural modernization" was issued, which clearly proposed to accelerate agricultural and rural modernization, vigorously implement rural construction actions, strengthen the party's overall leadership over the work of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers", further promote the structural reform of the agricultural supply side, and promote the construction of rural primary, secondary and tertiary industry integration development demonstration parks and science and technology demonstration parks. 2021 is the first year of the 14th five year plan for agriculture and rural areas. Promoting agricultural scientific and technological innovation, strengthening the construction of modern agricultural facilities and equipment, promoting green agricultural development, and improving agricultural management will be the focus of the preparation of the 14th five year plan. In order to thoroughly implement the strategic development plan and policy requirements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, accelerate the modernization of agriculture and rural areas, and stimulate the vitality of agricultural innovation and development, the "12th China International Modern Agriculture Expo (cimae 2022)" jointly hosted by the China Association of agricultural engineering and the China Association for the promotion of agricultural international cooperation will be held in Beijing · China International Exhibition Center (old museum) from May 21 to 23, 2022. With the theme of "scientific and technological innovation drives agricultural modernization", this Expo covers an exhibition area of 40000 square meters. It is expected that nearly 1000 enterprises will participate and more than 50000 professional visitors will visit.
Cimae has been successfully held for 11 times, always focusing on the field of modern agriculture, and has won the title of "China's top ten brand exhibition project", which has been classified as "AAA comprehensive exhibition" and "excellent exhibition" by China Agricultural Exhibition, and has been honored as the first exhibition of modern agriculture in China by the industry. The theme of this Expo is "scientific and technological innovation drives modern development", with an exhibition area of 50000 square meters. It is expected to attract nearly 2000 exhibitors and more than 50000 professional visitors.
